My story: It’s not a very interesting one, but it’ll do. My name is Kasey, I’m 14 years old, from Texas. For as long as i can remember, i’ve been the bigger girl. I’m not insanely large, but i’m not happy with my body either. In August of 2010, i started my first weight loss blog, weighing in at 147 , i worked my ass off until i finally lost about 30 pounds, reaching my lowest weight of 119. Although i did lose a lot of weight, i was going about it in a very unhealthy manner. I’d eat about 500-700 calories a day, but of food that wasn’t even good for me. Like instead of say, eating 500 calories of chicken and vegetables, i would eat a bag of chips and a sandwich, and be done for the day. I would run every single morning without eating breakfast, and at one point i even purged. I was dropping the pounds quickly, and was feeling good about myself, but i still wasn’t completely confident, so i kept trying but i didn’t succeed. I finally got irritated with the whole diet thing all together, so i figured since i was skinny now, i didn’t need to eat so little, and i didn’t need to work out as much. Big mistake. i gained every single pound back, so now i’m back to where i started. I’m trying for round two, but this time, i’m not on a ‘diet’, i’m making a lifestyle change.
